21st- In partnership between the Watauga Public Library and Watauga High School, you will now find Fig, the Little Free Library at the Leola Street Community Garden. Take a book, return a book. Read under the shade of the Leola Street trees in the garden this summer! Weekly garden story time each Friday @11:00 AM.
10th- Grow Appalachia Season Extension Workshop @ The Gardens at Hospitality House of Boone (6:00 pm-8:00 PM)
Join Lon Coulter and Lauri Wilson for a discussion of season extension options for your garden. Workshop will include a simple demo for constructing a cover for your garden beds as well as some plant starts to take home!
